The year 2012 has witnessed the launch of some very interesting gadgets. Here's a list of the top ten gadgets that caught our attention.

2. Aka iPad 3

Vietnamese website Tinhte.vu have their hands on a new iPad (aka iPad 3) and have put it trough its paces using the Geekbench benchmarking tool.
The results of this benchmark give the new iPad a score of 756, which is a little over the 720 that the iPad 2 scores, and quite a bit faster than the 620 or so scored by the iPhone 4S.

• It is the third generation iPad[Aka new iPad]

• It boasts of Retina display.

• It comes with 16,32,64 GB internal storage options.

• It has 1 GB RAM.

• This new iPad has a 5-megapixal camera.

3. Nikon D800

• The D800 incorporates a 36.3-megapixel (7360 x 4912 resolution) full frame sensor.

• It is supplemented by video recording at full HD resolution (1920x1080 at 30, 25 and 24 fps) and 720p (1280x720 at 60, 50, 30 and 25 fps). 

• It has 51-point Autofocus system.

4. Samsung Galaxy S III

Samsung took the wraps off the third version of its popular Galaxy series smartphone, Galaxy S III in June 2012.

•  It has a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display.

• It is powered by Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS. 

• It includes several features like Buddy Photo, S Voice assistant, S Beam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC.

• It also has Direct Call feature.

• It is powered by a 8 MP Primary Camera and 1.9 MP Secondary Camera.

• It has 1.4 GHz Quad Core Processor

• Wi-Fi Enabled

• Expandable memory upto 64 GB

5. iphone 5

• half inch taller than iPhone 4s
• left Google maps and brought Apple maps(not good)
• quick software updates
• Siri, passbook, reminders, iMessage etc in iOS6
• No possible customization unlike Androids.
• more prone to scratches and scuffs
